Police release image of man connected with assault
Glasgow Police have released an image of a man they believe may be connected with a serious assault which left a man with serious facial injuries.
The incident took place on board the number 2 First Bus, in Glasgow on Saturday, 3 November 2018.
Around 1.10am a man was assaulted on the bus as it approached a stop near to 1602 Dumbarton Road.
The man left the bus and the victim was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
He is described as white, in his early 20s, 6ft tall, of medium build with short dark hair. He was wearing a grey hooded top, dark blue jeans and dark trainers with a white sole.
He also has a distinctive birth mark or mole on his right cheek.
Constable Anna Campbell, from Drumchapel Police Station, said: “I would appeal to anyone who recognises the man in the image, or for the man in the image to contact us as it is important we speak to him as part of our investigation.”
