Glasgow mural celebrates women

Scottish artists have created a mural named “Celebrate Women” in the midst of International Woman’s Day.

The mural depicts the silhouettes of five women from different cultures.

Kat Loudon, Chelsea Frew, Erin Bradley-Scott and Edda Karolina unveiled the 13ft high artwork in SWG3’s graffiti yard.

The striking design is the very first for the project working together.

Ms Frew said: “The majority of mural art in Glasgow has been carried out by a small number of male artists.

“We felt it appropriate for our debut piece to celebrate women on International Women’s Day.”
