Second strike against climate change to take place this week
Pupils in Glasgow will be allowed the day off school on Friday to attend the second Extinction Rebellion march this month.
The event organisers are hoping for it to take place every week.
Last month, hundreds of students and school pupils across Scotland took part in first UK-wide youth strike, which called for governments around the world to take urgent action on climate change.
Glasgow City Council says absences would be treated as “authorised” if there is parental consent.
