Three men have been sent to a Glasgow hospital after being stabbed in a Celtic and Rangers brawl in the city centre.
According to the Police of Scotland, three men were getting medical treatment after a fight disturbance call was received from Albion Street around 5pm on Sunday afternoon.
The incident took place in the Merchant City area after Celtic beat rival Rangers by 2-1 in the lunchtime Old Firm derby.
Witnesses said a huge fight erupted between the two sides and approximately 15 people were involved. One Celtic fan was badly injured.
Following the violent incident, Albion Street was cordoned off by the police and six were arrested over the crime which happened at the Old Firm clash.
Among the six arrests, three were in connection with the sectarian breaches of the peace, one for attempting to enter the stadium with alcohol, one was arrested for resisting arrest, and another for being drunk.
In response, Glasgow City Council created a diversion on the High Street. Following the ongoing investigation, the street between Ingram Street and Bell Street still remains closed.
