Man stabbed and another’s nose ripped off within 30 mins at Paisley Road bar

A man is believed to have had his nose ripped off in an incident at NN10 on Paisley Road in Glasgow on Saturday evening.

Police cars and ambulances raced to the scene and a 48-year-old man is believed to have been taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with his nose ripped off.

Roughly 30 minutes after the incident took place a second fight occurred resulting in another man being stabbed outside the bar.

A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesman added: “We received a call at 5.25pm on Saturday to attend an incident on Paisley Road in Glasgow.

“We dispatched one ambulance to the scene and transported one male patient to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

“At 5.50pm, we received a further call to attend Paisley Road. We dispatched one ambulance and transported one male patient to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.”

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “A 48-year-old was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital by ambulance and was treated for a severe facial injury.

“Medical staff describe his condition as stable.

“Police are following a definitive line of inquiry.”
