Glasgow bar to host city’s first ‘vegan garden party.’

Glasgow is set to host its very first vegan garden party next month.

Cul Cuil on West Nile Street, next to Nelson Mandela Place, will host the event on Sunday, March 15.

Organisers say it will “bring something different to the rest of the city’ featuring “dramatic greenery and a completely plant passed Tex-Mex menu.”

Cul Cuil took over the Old Courtyard bar in 2018.

It is renowned for its ‘Oot the Back’ area, which was recently extended, a heated winter garden decorated with twinkling patio lights.

A Cul Cuil spokesperson said: “The covered city centre garden space has just been extended across the whole courtyard – with the windows open wide into our fully landscaped garden spectacle, it really could be ‘outside you are in’.”

Some of the meat-free ‘delights’ on offer include a vegan burger and vegan chilli with flatbread. Vegan friendly beers are also on offer.
