Glasgow to Turn The Tide Against Racism
An anti-racism conference is to take place in Glasgow in protest against Boris Johnson’s election.
The Turn The Tide Against Racism conference organised by Stand Up To Racism Scotland will be held at Adelaide Place Baptist Church on the February 22.
This is organised in to “build a movement against a Prime Minister who has used racist and dehumanising language to describe Muslim, African and Caribbean communities”, as mentioned on the event’s website.
Organisers are hopeful that the conference will help recruit the biggest possible numbers for this year’s UN Anti Racism Day demonstration set to take place both in London and Glasgow on March 21.
