Six Nations: Scotland vs France preview

Glasgow Warriors’, Rory Darge, is set to earn his first start for Scotland on Saturday as coach Gregor Townsend announced three changes to his starting lineup for this weekend’s game against France.
The two other changes for Scotland see Zander Fagerson and Michael Bradbury come into the first 15 as Johnny Gray and Matt Fagerson are sidelined due to injury with WP Nel dropping to the bench.
The Scotland coaching staff will be sure to put emphasis on their team keeping all 15 players on the pitch after fly-half Finn Russell was sin-binned against Wales last week for an intentional knock-on leaving his side down to 14 minutes for the final 10 minutes with Russell coming back on with only 30 seconds left to play.
Wales took advantage of the extra man and went on to score a drop goal with the scores level as they held on to win 20-17
Scotland will be aiming for a third consecutive Six Nations win over France.
With France sitting top of the table, Scotland will be looking to bounce back after last weekend’s defeat to Wales, and a win for the dark blues will see them back in contention to win the tournament for the first time since 1999.
However, a win for France will see them extend their lead at the top after two wins from two beating Italy 37-10 and a heavily favored Ireland side 30-24.
With a defeat meaning an end to Scotland’s title hopes a sold-out Murrayfield will back Townsend’s men from the first minute to the last.
