Housing officials’ request £14 billion could be massive boost to Scotland

The Scottish Housing Crisis could see vast improvement after UK construction companies asked the Government for £14 billion to build more affordable homes.
The funding could see 145,000 homes built every year.
As the crisis continues in Scotland, records display show downfall of 6% fall in all sector completions in 2023.
If the government accepts this offer, this will benefit the housing system.
One of the biggest issues arising is students struggling to find housing.
With student accommodation costs on the rise, renting and commuting seem the only options despite their own rises in expense.
The British Property Federation said whoever wins the next election will determine the build-to-rent process.
