Young Scot set to walk 1000 miles for men’s mental health

Young Scot Craig Ferguson is walking from Hampden to Germany before Euro 2024 in support of men’s mental health charity Brothers in Arms.

The 20-year-old hopes to reach Munich in time to see Scotland’s opener against the tournament’s hosts.

The decision to support Brothers in Arms came after the father of Ferguson’s close friend sadly took his own life.

Ferguson said: “I thought Men’s mental health is just absolutely the closest thing to my heart as possible.

“In no way do I think this is going to be easy, but I’d rather fail trying and raise money for a good cause that not try anything at all.

“The charity’s super fitting considering the whole event is centred around football and the euros, it’ll be great having loads of young men on board seeing the story and hopefully being inspired to speak up about their issues.”

With three months until he sets off, Ferguson has raised just under £3,000 of his £10,000 goal.
