Warning: Snow and ice to bring travel disruption to Scotland

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for Northern, Central, and the West of Scotland for tonight and tomorrow.

The Met Office has issued another yellow weather warning for Northern Scotland from tonight into tomorrow evening.

Snow showers and ice are expected to disrupt local transportation in Central and Western Scotland from 15.00 tonight to 12.00 tomorrow.

1-3cm of precipitation are expected with 5-8cm to land in the Northwestern Highlands.

The Met Office said: “Icy surfaces will be an additional hazard, following the recent wet weather.”
