Easter half-term savings: Where to feed the kids for less

Glasgow parents can save money and still treat the family to a meal out this Easter half-term despite the rising cost of living. 

With the Easter half-term approaching, parents are watching their budget and wondering how to feed their kids during the break and if they can afford to treat the family to a meal out. 

With the rising cost of living over the past few years, holidays can often leave parents stressed about feeding and entertaining restless kids. 

This year, you can save the pennies with many restaurants around Glasgow offering deals and free meals during Easter.

Morrisons 

Morrisons is running two offers this Easter break. 

The whole family can enjoy a free breakfast by quoting ‘Ask for Ellen’ in their cafes. 

The offer is in partnership with Warburtons and offers two crumpets with butter and jam to every person, no questions asked. 

Also, running all day every day, get one free kid’s meal with any adult meal (£4.50 or over). Offer is available at all Morrisons stores with a café.

Asda 

Keep the kids’ hunger at bay while doing the ASDA weekly shop. 

The supermarket chain offers kids meals for only £1 every day in all Asda Cafes.

The offer includes hot and cold meals, free fruit, and two ‘treats’ for every child.  

The retailer is also offering free Ella’s baby food pouches for all children under 18

YO! Sushi

Treat the whole family to a Japanese-inspired feast during the half-term. For every £10 spent by an adult, they offer a free ‘kiddo bento box’. The offer is running from 25th March to 12 April and on weekdays. The offer is for three free kids’ meals per booking.

Subway 

Are you heading for a day out or a road trip? For a quick lunch, why not save some money with Subway? From 25th March to 14 April, a free Kids’ meal, which includes a 4-inch sub, a snack, and a drink, is available with the purchase of any of their footlong subs.

The Real Greek

Between the 29th of March-14th April, why not include the kids in a Greek feast? You can get one of their kids’ meals free with each adult spending £10. The kids’ meal includes a mezze meal or souvlaki wrap, a drink and an ice cream or sorbet for dessert.

Tesco
