Are you ready for some egg-citing news? Places around Glasgow are hosting Easter egg hunts and other various activities! Get ready to hop around the city and discover hidden treasures. From parks to stadiums, there will be plenty of fun filled events for everyone to enjoy!
Golf It!
Golf It! on Cumbernauld Road is hosting a fun-filled Easter weekend from the 29th to 31st of March. They have collaborated with Seven Lochs Wetland Park to bring a Easter egg hunt around Golf It! and the Hogganfield Park. You can book online for free. There will also be a line-up of Easter entertainment throughout the weekend, including Alpaca meet and greets! There’s fun for the adults too, with cocktails, and the Pravha beer bar – and everyone’s favourite – free parking!
Dumbarton Castle
Dumbarton Castle are hosting a Eggsplorer Trail through the 29th of March to the 1st of April. A sweet-toothed culprit has been squirreling all of the Easter eggs and the community have been sent on a mission to find them. The trail takes you through some of their most iconic sites including castles, abbeys, and forts! Family tickets range from £15-£25.50.
Breakfast with the Easter Bunny
Head down to Scotland’s national stadium, Hampden, for breakfast with the Easter Bunny! The fun-filled morning takes place on the 29th and 30th of March, and tickets are on sale now. They are offering tea, coffee and juice, breakfast morning roll, a magician act, an easter egg and of course a visit from the Easter Bunny! It’s something the whole family can enjoy.
Provan Hall
There’s no need to book this egg-cellent event at Provan Hall! On Easter Sunday from 11am until 2pm, you can get your creative juices flowing. From 11am there will be basket making, at 12noon there will be an egg hunt and at 1pm you will be able to decorate your very own styrofoam egg! They will do their best to provide a range of easter egss, chocolate and vegan!
National Trust of Scotland Easter Egg Trails
Holmwood House, Geilston Gardens and Tenement House in Glasgow have all collaborated with the National Trust for Scotland to host egg hunts! Combine a walk to take in the spring colour and wildlife with problem-solving skills to earn a yummy Easter treat! The trail at each place is totally different and will help you and your family explore and learn about the history behind the venues. Each trail sheet costs £4 and you can pay on entry.
