Humza Yousaf constituency reacts to resignation

Humza Yousaf has announced his resignation from the position as First Minister of Scotland, following his decision to end the power-sharing deal with The Scottish Green Party.

The announcement came as a shock to the political scene in Scotland with reactions ranging from expressions of support to calls for further investigation into Humza Yousaf’s decision, despite mentioning that his reasons were personal, he stated that he was “not willing to treat my values and principles or do deals with whomever simply for retaining power”.

During his time as first minister Humza Yousaf was a very influential figure known for his advocacy on issues such as social justice, equality, and minority rights.

His resignation marks a significant development in Scottish politics, leaving many wondering who will step up to be the next First Minister of Scotland.
