St Enochs Center to offer cheap parking from 5pm onward

The popular shopping destination is introducing the cheap new £2 parking tariff on the 3rd of May.

You can take advantage of the new parking offer from 5pm onwards until the centre closes seven days a week.

This offer is expected to be “extremely popular” according to the centre’s director George Reader, and it isn’t just aimed at St. Enoch’s shoppers, anyone needing parking in the city centre is welcome to use it.

Reader said this is just “part of their commitment to being an integral part of Glasgow city centre.”

This comes after Glasgow City Council announced in their budget they will be extending paid parking in the city centre from 6pm to 10pm.

Ione Campsie, a spokesperson from the council said that they need to make “savings of £117m over the next three years.”
