Beyonce makes history at the 67th Grammy Awards

The 67th annual Grammy Awards happened on Sunday night in Los Angeles, where artists from across genres gathered to celebrate the best in music.
Sabrina Carpenter, Kendrick Lamar and Charli XCX were among the night’s winners, with performances from a star-studded list of talents including Stevie Wonder and Shakira.
The big winner of the night was Beyonce who made history winning Album of the Year for the first time in her career. She also became the first black woman to win in the Best Country Album category for her latest release Cowboy Carter.
Scottish Beyonce superfan, Lucy Campbell went viral on TikTok for a video she captured at Beyonce’s Renaissance tour date in Glasgow. She said the singer’s win was well deserved: “It’s a big step for a lot of black people in the music industry and will hopefully open a lot of doors for them.
“A lot of people are now starting to listen to country music because they were fans of Cowboy Carter”.
Beyonce announced the Cowboy Carter tour ahead of the awards and has teased possible host cities including London, proving the Queen B will continue to make her mark on the country music industry.
