Glasgow Caledonian University students launch “Coffee Quick” delivery service

Callum Lechatellier and Luke Walker are both students at Glasgow Caledonian University and have recently started their own business that delivers hot drinks such as coffees, teas and hot chocolates to students across the GCU campus with the push of a button.

This service launched at the beginning of 2025 and allows users to order a hot beverage of their choice, while also providing the option to customise these drinks with any requested syrups, toppings, or dietary requirements. The user fills out information such as which building and room they are in on campus, then Callum or Luke will deliver the hot drink to the user as quickly as possible.

The concept of “Coffee Quick” came about when Callum was in the library and wished he could have a coffee delivered to him without needing to move from where he was studying. Callum then came to Luke and they decided to turn this idea into a business model that people at their university could enjoy.

The young entrepreneurs currently only operate on Mondays, however they have hopes to open their services to the rest of the working week.

Callum and Luke believe their business is providing a service that isn’t currently available for both students and staff on campus, and as their consumer-base grows at Glasgow Caledonian University, they have ambitions to expand their operations to universities across Glasgow.
