St Enoch’s Winterfest market officially opens

market sellers will set up their stalls in Glasgow's St Enoch Square

St. Enoch’s Christmas market is set to open today, heralding the beginning of festive celebrations in Glasgow.

Entry to the market is free and there will also be a dedicated community hub that serves as a stage for local artists and talents.

The market is nestled adjacent to the bustling Buchanan Street and boasts an array of street food stalls, selling everything from Bratwurst sausages to Churros.

An assortment of kids rides also makes Winterfest a popular family day out.

The market offers an array of stalls presenting handmade wooden gifts, artisan cheeses and chocolates, jewelry, cozy knitwear and personalized Christmas decorations – perfect for selecting gifts for loved ones.

The opening of St. Enoch’s market marks the beginning of Glasgow’s Christmas festivities, with a lineup of events set to unfold.

The annual Christmas Light Switch-On, slated for November 19, promises to further ignite the holiday spirit across the city.
