Undercover Beale? Ex-Rangers manager takes to X to defend himself on burner account

Secret identity? Beale lasted for 12 games with the Black Cats (@SunderlandAFC X)

Online researchers have made a bizarre discovery, revealing that the former Rangers manager had been operating a burner account to defend himself on the social media platform X, formerly Twitter.

After being sacked by Sunderland this week, his second dismissal of the season, Beale has faced new levels of public scrutiny.

And it turns out one of Michael Beale’s few online supporters, is in fact Michael Beale himself.

The ‘What The Falk Podcast’ unearthed that a now deleted account called @Player_id had been posting content defending the under-fire manager in recent days.

The posts also mentioned his time in charge at Rangers, defending the work carried out by Beale earlier this season.

It has since been noted that ‘Player ID’ is a podcast that was hosted by no other than Beale himself three years ago.

So, what will Beale’s next career step be? Creating a new X account may be a place to start!
