Glasgow’s train stations have now installed “lifesaving” defibrillators installed.

Scotrail reports that 87 de-fibs have now been placed at train stations around the nation following the train operator’s most recent roll-out of new equipment.

The stations where the devices are currently located are Yoker, Argyle Street, Belgrove, Exhibition Center, Queen Street, and Charing Cross, among many more.

A Scotrail passenger, Temi Collins who ride on the train from Queen Street to Livingston daily said it is comforting to have the defibrillator.

Temi Collins said: “It is an exciting news to know that defibrillators have been installed for people like me living with High Blood Pressure and open to heart attack and to know there is an equipment to perform CPR on anyone at any time is comforting.”

Defibrillators can help to restore heart rhythm when someone goes into cardiac arrest.
