World Snooker Championship 2024: Sullivan wins 10-1 to book his place in last 16

Seven-time champion, Ronnie O’ Sullivan has beaten Jackson Page 10-1 to make his way to the round of 16 in the World Snooker Championship 2024.

Sullivan was leading 6-0 before Page made attempt and win one before the game ends on Sullivan’s victory.

His tournament started on April 24 before the march came to an end by 1pm on 25th of April, 2024.

While speaking with BBC One after beating Jackson Page, O’Sullivan said he was pleased with his performance at the tournament.

Ronnie Sullivan said: “I just play. The harder the test the more I see it as a challenge. I have trained hard all my life; I am mentally tough and ready to play whenever.

“I played terrible for two years but I have won and I know how to win. That is something I am blessed with. I haven’t really cued smoothly but I have started working with Nic Barrow a coach who knows my game inside out and I decided I can’t coach myself anymore and I have felt as good on the practice tables in the last couple of weeks as I have in the last six to seven years.”

The World Snooker Championship holding at the crucible Theatre in Sheffield, started on Saturday, April 20 and would come to a Monday, May 6, 2024.
